A completely f’d up day… So here is the thing… When u r a crew member one of the huge perks of the career is the jumpseat ability u have on pretty much any airline… I generally use SWA… It’s close to my own airlines terminal in domicile … The agents and crew r nice … And I always get a seat… Not today… First issue.. Its a holiday weekend… I bid & actually held it off… My friends hosted a going away party for me last nite… & I opted to sleep in instead of getting on the plane early this morning… I wanted to go last nite… But didnt want my fam to have to pick me up so late.. So now I’m paying for it… I got bumped off 2 flights.. So my crew mate said I should fly to LAX… & I cud connect to a 910pm … Ha! I got on the LAX flight… But I got to LAX and we delayed on the tarmac… I still ran between 3 terminals to c if by the grace of God it was delayed … Thru security.. Lines… Lines … Nothing worked in my favor… Plane was gone… I barely missed it… But I missed it… I looked @ JetBlue.. Virgin… All gone. The next flight is either SW or AS… Both oversold… Both leaving in about 7 hours… Not worth the hotel… $100 plus for a few moments of sleep.. So I’m at LAX… I had dinner & watched 3 drunks get cut off… Now I’m watching them board a Mexico City flight… Making animal sounds… Yelling … Drunk.. Wondering wth the gate agents r thinking… A night in LaX … Commuting really sucks… I want my bed… My family… My bf.. Some teavana…sleep…
My flying schedule for June… a win win for once
I did my June bid so half assed out of DFW the other day to LAS.. Those people acted like they were from NYC or SNA…not nice Texans… Needy as hell….asking for Dr. Pepper… lemonade…moonshine.. seriously your going to Las Vegas…really?? They acted like they were going to slaughter..Not Las Vegas…
So paying attention to my fa bid in the jumpseat wasnt working.. I buddy bid with a friend..he commutes from SAN and I will now be a commuter again too.. At least not from DC where it was a 5 hour commute…but now a 3 hour commute.. June needed to work for me… I need down time…maybe a trip to Vegas myself… and to drive my car to my new home… I got it… Today I am packing my crash pad…I sold my new luxury bed..:-( My parents thought I was nuts for buying this big ass bed 2 years ago anyway bc Im pretty small… and its very big.. I donned it all out with about 8 pillows…my bed is important… :-) Oh well..another nice big bed awaits me when I find a house in SEA..Sold my 48 inch plasma too… My friend needed one.. and I dont like that tv anyway…
off to the skies tomorrow….then off for 4 days to celebrate my bday… :-) ciao bellas!
